I don't know if we have this in California but I was traveling to a bunch of different states and kept seeing WAFFLE HOUSE. Decided to try, the service at this location was great!

Everything was really cheap. Probably not my go to, compared to NORMS but really it's so affordable and it's good. :) I like their hot sauce, biscuit n gravy was good. Waffle was great. Steak was okay.

Nancy is the worst dirty filthy waitress I ever seen
The table was with syrup all over the bench
I had to clean the table myself
She brought me a dirty coffe cop
    Dirty forks
    And wrong waffles
She spoke in Spanish to me I speak 5 languages after 20 minutes she brought me a plastic coffe for to go and 15 minutes later non dairy cream
This place has a terrible service
Probably they can't hire workers for the  minimum wage

I was fortunate to have my friend and her husband take me around Denver during the first few days of my first-time visit to Denver. He drives and she doesn't. I had rented a car and had the original notion of doing what I normally do -- drive everywhere and try to soak up as much as I can about a new city.

Unfortunately, my friend's husband fell sick. As thoughtful as it was for them to plan a bunch of places to take me to, I enjoy a balance of doing things that I want to do, without that much structure. My friend wanted to spend as much time with me as she could, which was sweet. However, I had some time to be on my own. I like that balance.

Towards the end of my visit, I went to the Butterfly Pavillion on my own. After my visit, I needed lunch, as it was the middle of the afternoon. I did a search and found Waffle House. I visited this one.

I found a booth and plopped myself down. The booth was comfortable.

As always, my go-to meal at Waffle House is the all-star special. My main goal is to get a waffle and devour it with maple syrup. This combo comes with a waffle. I also got eggs scrambled, with sausage patties, toast, and grits. I always get grits when I have the choice between them and hashbrowns.

I loved my late lunch. The waffle was amazing and consistent, as always. The grits were perfect. My scrambled eggs and sausage patties were yummy. I also enjoyed putting strawberry jam on my already buttered toast.

I washed everything with a Diet Coke. I got my bill, which is always hand-written. I paid the cashier and left.

It's a decent location. It wasn't all that busy when I was there. My meal was yummy. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I'd come back here again when I'm back to visit the area.

I'd like to start by saying I normally like Waffle House. Last night however was a major disappointment and I probably won't go back to this location. Anyone who's been to this location knows that the service is usually slow, but last night it was quick. Everything was fine until they started cleaning the floor. Whatever they used smelled like rancid human waste. The smell was overwhelming. I'm not a person who doesn't clean my plate but there wasn't an option this time. The person behind the counter acknowledged that the cleaner smelled bad. Why would you clean the floor if your cleaner smelled like that while customers ate eating??? I paid my bill and left as fast as I could.

This was the worst Waffle House experience I've ever had. We waited for long time before anyone acknowledged we had sat down (they said sit anywhere when we walked in). During that time, multiple other people came in and were attended to right away. After complaining to the staff about how no one had come to our table, they finally took our order. They never apologized or even recognized that they had ignored us.

It was then a long wait for two waffles and a side of bacon, during which time the people who came in after us got their food, finished, and paid. When we did get food, everything was cold- except the prepackaged butter which was melted. It was the worst waffle I've ever had at a Waffle House.

To top it off, the table was dirty when we sat down and was never cleaned. The air conditioning was on full blast, even though it was chilly outside. I had to get my sweater from the car because it was so cold inside, but I didn't need it outside.

Overall, I recommend you skip this location.
